Morkshire Terrier Club of America, Inc. (MTCA)

The Morkshire Terrier Club of America® (MTCA), formally known as the American Morkshire Terrier Club, Inc. (AMTC), is dedicated to the promotion, registration, preservation, rescuing, and responsible advancement of the American Morkshire Terrier dog—commonly referred to as the AMT, Morkshire, and Morkie. Our members are committed to upholding the Club’s Code of Ethics and maintaining the highest standards of sportsmanship both inside and outside the show ring.

Members of the MTCA prioritize responsible ownership and ethical breeding, focusing on health, temperament, and compliance with breed standards. We foster education and mentorship to assist owners and breeders in creating well-socialized, healthy dogs, ensuring that puppies are placed only in caring and responsible homes.

"MTCA members primary focus is the betterment of the breed for future generations"
